Finding plus size clothes that are trendy yet fit properly is still a pretty difficult thing... I mean come on, its 2019!

In an era where every cute boutique or online shop is basically focused up to Large and often times its not even a true large. With that being said its hard to find cute and trendy plus size clothes.
Finding clothes can also become harder depending on your personal style. I would say mine is described as eclectic. No...not crazy colors and patterns, but it is different everyday. One day I am more girly in a floral dress, boho in a maxi skirt and sandals, or edgy in ripped jeans and motorcycle boots. It just depends on how I am feeling that day when I am getting dressed.... but this means that I have to find multiple styles when shopping which can be heard when you plug in the term "Plus Size".
So, today I am going to share some of my favorite plus size lines or stores.
1. Old Navy

So I know some people absolutely love Old Navy while others would never shop there, but for me I love it! Through Old Navy I am the size XXL the largest size sold in stores. There are higher sizes available online. So that being said they do not have a specific plus size line at Old Navy but they do have those sizes available they are just not offered in stores.
For me I love the loose flowy style that a lot of their clothes are based in. Old Navy is a great place to get basics and jeans for a reasonable price that also fit many body types very well. I like to mix the basic pieces with the floral flowy pieces.
I will say 90% of my jeans have come from Old Navy. They hold up against "Chub Rub" quite well, there of course is the beading of fabric within that area, but they last quite a while compared to some other brands I have tried. No Old Navy does not have the highest quality but for the price point, the sizing and styles available, they are still one of my top choices.
2. Lane Bryant

If you are willing to spend at a higher price point, you will get great quality clothes that will last you for a long time.
Lane Bryant is a plus size specific clothing store, carrying all the way up to a size 32. The main things that I do get from Lane Bryant are undergarments. Which I know is not what you were expecting but being plus size it can be hard to find bras and underwear that fit properly, support correctly and will last you can be difficult. I love my Lane Bryant wire bras and sport bras, they have lasted for quite a while, and are extremely comfortable in my opinion.
Besides undergarments, majority of my business or more formal pieces come from Lane Bryant. They are great for the more dressy pieces rather than the day to day. If you work in an office or need to have a couple of strong workable pieces, I would recommend Lane Bryant.
3. Boohoo

This an online specific store based in the UK. They have a massive selection of different styles and cuts of pieces. Boohoo is not a plus size specific store but have a great selection within their plus size collection. Within their collection they have not only their own specific brand but they also carry a mixture of other brands.
Over the years I have gotten a mixture of pieces from them between their specific brand and the other brands they carry. They have enough stock available that allows you tp buy 3 full outfits in 3 very different styles. When shopping through Boohoo you should remember to check the sizing guide before each piece because it could be a different brand. I have had made that mistake a couple of times, where I got my item way to large and then had to have it tailored.
I do love their expansive options in different styles and their inclusivity!
I of course have other pieces in my wardrobe from numerous other stores or lines. Some have been more disappointing than others. While I have a couple of pieces from forever 21 and H&M's plus size lines they are rare finds in the their stores. Yes, they have plus size lines, but I have personally always struggled with finding items that fit me properly.
While with Charlotte Russe, I love their pieces. There are pieces that don't fit my body type properly but that happens anywhere but nowhere near the level of struggle I have had with Forever 21 and H&M. Charlotte Russe pieces are more towards the style of what I wear for a girls night out or a date night. They are more flirty and make me feel sexy even at my size.
Everyone is different in their size and their style but these are some tidbits, that I thought I would be helpful in shopping for a plus size girl!
